Architect & Interior Designer Application (Kirkland, WA | Hybrid)
Ariana Designs & Interiors, part of Ariid Group — including Ariana Designs & Interiors, Ariid Build & Remodel, and Ariid Home & Furniture — is seeking a talented Architect & Interior Designer to join a growing luxury residential design studio. This position is ideal for a designer who thinks holistically about space, structure, flow, and interior experience, and who enjoys collaborating across design, build, and furnishing teams to bring refined homes to life.
About the Role
As an Architect & Interior Designer at Ariana Designs & Interiors, you will lead and support residential projects from early concept through construction, working closely with our in-house design and build teams. You will help shape renovations, additions, and custom homes that blend thoughtful architecture with elevated interiors, always balancing aesthetics, function, and constructability.
Design & Planning
- Develop layouts and building designs for renovations, additions, and custom homes.
Produce schematic, design development, and construction-ready drawing sets. - Translate client vision into functional, elevated solutions, balancing aesthetics, feasibility, zoning, and constructability.
- Conduct site visits, measurements, scans, and existing-condition assessments; collaborate with interiors so architecture and interiors align from day one.
Interior & Coordination
- Support interior layouts for kitchens, baths, millwork, lighting, and built-ins; coordinate furnishings, finishes, and materials.
- Prepare clear drawing packages for clients, permitting, and construction; coordinate with consultants, engineers, and jurisdictions; support Ariid Build & Remodel during construction and revisions.
Your Profile
- Strong residential design background; comfortable with remodels, additions, and high-end custom homes; produces buildable drawings.
- Detail-oriented, organized, communicative, and deeply interested in luxury residential design and the emotional experience of space.
Fit & Skills
- Collaborative, calm under pressure, manages multiple projects, open to feedback, eager to grow in a boutique, design-driven firm.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (or similar); experienced with layouts, elevations, construction docs; familiar with residential systems and basic zoning/permitting.
Bonus
- Experience with high-end interiors, custom millwork/cabinetry, and field collaboration with contractors and trades, ideally in residential-focused studios.
